The New Balance 1000 "Silver Metallic" is the modern reissue of the shoe that debuted in 1999. Brought back by New Balance “Made in USA” Creative Director Teddy Santis in 2024, the New Balance 1000 has a retro yet futuristic appearance. The upper has a black mesh base and sleek Silver Metallic leather overlays. A black “N” logo with yellow trim appears on the sides and a “1000” logo can be found on the lateral side of the forefoot. “New Balance 1000” branding appears on the tongue and heel. A cream-colored foam midsole gives the shoe a decidedly vintage look. Release date: April 24, 2024
